1. Knotting

Is a traditional method for making nylon fishing net. Fishing nets are knotted with warp threads and weft threads in shuttles. The size of the nodules is 4 times the diameter of the net rope and protrudes from the plane of the net. This kind of net is called netting. Nodule hits the fish and the ship's side when the net is lifted, which not only hurts the fish but also causes the net to wear, and because the chemical fiber is smooth and elastic, it is easy to cause problems such as nodular relaxation and uneven mesh.

2. Reeling

The two sets of yarns are skeined by the machine at the same time, and they cross each other at the junction point to form a net. Because the yarn at the knots of the net is not bent, the net is flat and the friction is reduced, but the hoisting machine is less efficient, the preparation process is complicated, and the number of transverse meshes is limited. It is only suitable for weaving nets with larger meshes.

3. Warp knitting

Using a Raschel warp knitting machine equipped with 4 to 8 combs, the warp yarns are connected into a net in a loop, which is called warp knitting without a net. Due to the high speed of the warp knitting machine (600 rpm), the netting of the monofilament nylon net is wide, and the number of transverse meshes can reach more than 800 meshes. It is convenient to change the specifications and the production efficiency is several times higher than the first two methods. Warp-knitted flat multifilament net, wear-resistant, light weight, stable structure, high nodule strength, no deformation and looseness after the net is damaged, can be widely used in marine fishing, freshwater fishing and breeding, and various other special uses.
